Our Story

The hills surrounding Lake Bolsena were shaped thousands of years ago by volcanic activity. These mineral-rich soils give the wines of the region their distinctive structure, freshness and depth. The vineyards benefit from warm sunshine during the day and cooler air from the lake in the evening, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly while maintaining balance and elegance. Our wines are produced from grape varieties that thrive in this environment, including Grechetto, Malvasia, Moscato, Chardonnay, Syrah and Merlot. Each vintage reflects the rhythm of nature and the unique volcanic landscape of this region.

ABOUT us

Madame Moisè works in close collaboration with a small family winery that has been cultivating vineyards and producing wine in this region for more than 100 years.

For generations this family has worked the vineyards around Montefiascone and Lake Bolsena, developing a deep understanding of the soils, the climate and the care required to produce expressive wines.

Throughout the year the vineyards require constant attention — from winter pruning to the long summer months when the grapes slowly ripen under the Italian sun.

Harvest is the most important moment of the year. It brings together experience, patience and respect for the land, ensuring that every bottle reflects the character of this volcanic region.

Oil and honey: the same passion, the same land

From the olive trees that have sculpted our slopes for generations, Madame Moisè – velvety olive oil – is born: an extra virgin olive oil with an intense color, smooth on the palate, scented with fresh grass and almonds.

An olive oil that caresses, nourishes, and tells a story of patience and sunshine.

And among the flowers of our countryside, bees gather nectar and silence.
From them comes our honey: natural, golden, pure.
A small treasure that smells of spring, of the woods, of ancient blooms.

Madame Moisè Bianco
An intense white wine, clear and lively like a ray of sunshine on water.
It encapsulates the salt of the earth, the freshness of the morning, the memory of ripe fruit and open horizons.

Madame Moisè Rosso
An infinite red wine, warm and deep like the volcanic soil from which it comes.
It flows slowly – like a thought that is never forgotten. Elegant, rounded, silent—yet full of voice.

Madame Moisè is more than a farm.
It’s an invitation to savor the essential.
A tribute to the origin, to beauty, to what remains.
And to the one who, with grace and strength, inspired everything.

Welcome to our story.
